54TH STREET UPDATE & PARKING INSTRUCTIONS
Construction has begun on 54th Street in front of ECLC.  It will take several weeks for our section of the road to be rebuilt, but access to the church will be maintained throughout.  If the parking lot is full, attendees may park on both sides of the street on weekends or after 5:00 pm on weekdays. Thank you for your patience during this upgrade to our neighborhood infrastructure.

BUILDING DESIGN COMMITTEE (BDC) UPDATE
Sanctuary acoustics meeting  The acoustician for our building project will attend ECLC this Sunday, August 30, and following the second service will meet to talk about the acoustical design for the sanctuary. Interested ECLC members are welcome to attend.
Building Plans will be shared soon  BDC members have reviewed the updated floor plans and provided feedback to the architects for preparing display boards we plan to share with the congregation between services each Sunday in September. The display boards will show the exterior elevations, site plan and interior floor plans.
Revised project estimate Next week the BDC will receive a revised project estimate from our contractor and will make adjustments as needed to bring it in line with the project budget.
