ADVENT VESPERS- TONIGHT!   On Wednesdays in Advent, you are invited to come together around the table for a simple meal at 6 p.m., and at 7 p.m. Holden Evening Prayer with personal reflections on “What are we waiting for?” Tonight’s storyteller is Mary L-H.

On Wednesday, December 20th, our vespers service will honor the full experience of the holidays, naming the pain, sadness, or loss that can accompany these "merry" days.  Please invite friends and neighbors to this Blue Christmas worship, a part of our Mission focus on mental health throughout the year.

ADVENT ALTERNATIVE GIVING: ECLC's Mission Team invites you to consider alternative gifts that support ECLC mission partners this Advent. CELEBRATE OUR LITTLE FREE LIBRARY:  In worship this Sunday, we’ll dedicate our new community Little Free Library and bless our new LFL team! Come, enjoy a book this Sunday.

HELP 66 WEST CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS:  It’s time to party!  Help 66 West residents celebrate their first holiday in their new home at their holiday party on Tuesday, December 19th from Noon-1:30pm.  Volunteers are needed—email Lauren.  (Can’t make it?  $ donations will be accepted on Sunday for resident gift cards—look for the Alternative Advent giving table).

SING WITH THE CHOIR! Join Melissa and the Christmas Choir after midweek vespers the next three Wednesdays (7:45ish) in the sanctuary for BRIEF choir rehearsals in preparation for us singing at the 10:00 pm Christmas Eve service.

EVERY COMMITMENT COUNTS! If you have not yet had a chance to pledge your financial support of ECLC’s ministries for the coming year, now is the time to do so. Join the 152 ECLC households who have already pledged as together we proclaim God’s YES to the world. Complete a Commitment Card and place it in the offering plate, or mail it to the church office.
