ADVENT CONVERSATIONS The next two Wednesdays, December 5 and 12 from 7:45 to 8:45 Pastor Jeff will host conversations after our Advent worship. Like the cottage gatherings when he first arrived, these conversations will be a chance to build relationships and hear more from you about life at ECLC as we turn the page to begin a new church year. The conversation will begin with our responses to what we heard in the Advent worship, but will move where the Spirit leads. Come and build beloved community so that we can be beloved community in a world that needs our witness.

SUNDAY FORUMS: Join us Sundays in the Sanctuary at 9:45 a.m.
DECEMBER 9: Therapist Karen Stevensen will lead the Forum as we continue the conversation of "Living With Grief."
DECEMBER 16: There will be no Sunday Forum, due to rehearsal for the Christmas Program. Instead, please enjoy coffee and conversation in the Fellowship Hall.

PACK FOOD FOR COMMUNITY EMERGENCY SERVICE: ECLC is packing groceries for CES on Thursday, December 13th from 9:30-11:00 at 1900 11th Ave S. in Minneapolis. Can you join ECLC? Sign up through ECLC’s Mission Partner Liaison, Larissa N.

SEE MOVIE BOY ERASED WITH THE GLBT & FRIENDS GROUP: ECLC’s GLBT & Friends group invites everyone to join us for us for a showing of the new movie, Boy Erased, at the Edina Landmark Theater (50th & France) at 4:20pm this Sunday, December 9th, followed by an optional conversation at Perkins about the film. You can watch the trailer for this emotional new film based on one person’s true experience with conversation therapy here. Email ECLC’s GLBT & Friends leader, Jennie S.

EXPERIENCE CHRISTMAS WORSHIP IN THE HOLY LAND (FROM YOUR COUCH): Join ECLC’s mission partners from Bright Stars of Bethlehem for a simulcast worship service live from both Christmas Lutheran Church in Bethlehem and the Washington National Cathedral in DC on Saturday, December 15th at 8:30am.

WELCOME, NEW MEMBERS! This month, we welcomed ten new member households into the ECLC community. We look forward to the ways their presence will grow, stretch, and change us together. Please keep an eye out for new faces and extend the welcome!
