LENTEN OFFERING: LOCAL AND GLOBAL HEALTH MINISTRIES:  This Lent, we reach out as a congregation and support ministries that serve the health of their communities. Among its many ministries, our sister congregation St. Paul’s Lutheran hosts the Phillips Neighborhood Clinic, caring for the whole person throughout its neighborhood.  And, our eyes turns to our brothers and sisters in El Salvador as the Zika virus spreads there.  Our Lenten offering will support St. Paul’s Lutheran and a yet to be determined ministry partner working through the Lutheran Church of El Salvador to prevent the spread of this disease. To support the Lenten offering, place a check in the offering plate made out to ECLC with “Lenten Offering” in the memo line, donate at a Wednesday night soup supper, or donate online at www.eclc.org

TRAVEL SIZED TOILETRIES DONATIONS WELCOME!  It’s Shower Power time! The EcoFaith team invites you to drop off travel sized shampoo, conditioner, bars of soap, toothpaste, and lotion that you’ve collected during hotel stays. Rather than these items being thrown out by the hotels, we’ll donate them to local shelters and food shelves, including Community Emergency Service. Drop off items in the blue bin at the Sign Up Center by Sunday, February 28th.
