LEGISLATIVE UPDATE FROM EDINA’S STATE LEGISLATORS: The Edina League of Women Voters invites you to a legislative update at ECLC on Tuesday, March 6 at 7:00 pm. Hosted by ECLC, the Edina elected legislators will discuss what they see as the important issues in the upcoming legislative session. They will take questions from the audience. As of now, State Senator Melisa Franzen, and State Representatives, Dario Anselmo and Paul Rosenthal will all attend.
FROM THE IMMIGRATION TASK FORCE: To gain a better perspective on the adversities faced by immigrants, consider attending "A Crack in the Sky" at the History Theatre now through March 4th. The play is based on the life of a Somali immigrant who has also authored the book "Somalis in Minnesota". Performances are on Thursday through Sunday - with discussions following the Sunday performances. Highly recommended by ECLC members who have already attended.

SOLIDARITY WORSHIP WITH ST PAUL’S: On February 25th at 11am, join ECLCers at our sister congregation, St. Paul’s Lutheran (2742 15th Ave S., Mpls) as we worship in solidarity with at their bilingual worship. ECLC HOSTS LUTHERAN BISHOP FROM THE HOLY LAND We are pleased to welcome Rev. Munib A. Younan to ECLC on Sunday, March 4th. Younan served as Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, and President of the Lutheran World Federation. Younan has been a lifelong leader of interfaith dialogue and a vocal proponent for nonviolence based on justice, inclusion and forgiveness. In addition to preaching in worship at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m., Bishop Younan will share his perspectives during the Forum between services.
