We seek that everyone knows at least one person well enough that they can trust with their whole story. Our Breaking Bread meals and our white board questions are two ways we seek to do that. TUESDAY NIGHT BIBLE SERIES: The World of Biblical Israel: In the last lecture with Professor Chapman's video, we sat by the River with the Exiles in Babylon, pondering what books to preserve in the Old Testament. For the next two weeks we study what keeps the Israelites so strongly together as family and a nation, even to the present. CONCERT AND COMMUNITY SING: NEW SONGS OF ECOLOGY AND EARTHCARE FOR CHURCHES Thursday, February 8th, 7:00 pm with Bret Hesla and Richard Bruxvoort Colligan at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (2315 Chicago Ave, Mpls). If you are concerned with climate change, this event is for you. Bret and Richard will teach and sing from their new collection of original chants and songs affirming science, green faith values, and "Let's do something." Come sing some great new melodies and poetry with honest, direct words. Provocative, singable resources for churches plus a fun evening of community singing. And…Paul Andress will be giving a brief presentation on how ECLC is using Bret’s music in our new “Green” liturgical setting. Suggested donation: Adults $15, Families $25.
JONATHAN RUNDMAN PLUS FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN CONCERT AT ECLC! All ages welcome on Saturday, February 10th at 7pm. $10 per person / $20 per family suggested donation at the door. National touring songwriter Jonathan Rundman performs a concert for the first time in his own home town of Edina! Backed by his family and an all-star band of ECLC musicians, Jonathan will feature a variety of songs and sounds from across his 25-year career.

FIRST AID FOR MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING: On Wednesday, February 21 from 8am-5pm, at St. Patrick Church Edina, attend a free First Aid for Mental Health training exploring the risk factors and warning signs of mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders. BEFORE THE FLOOD: ECLC’s EcoFaith team invites you to a free showing of the award-winning documentary Before The Flood on Sunday, January 28th following 11am worship. This film follows Leonardo DiCaprio on a worldwide exploration of climate change and its drastic impact. Chill lunch will be served before the movie!
