54TH STREET UPDATE & PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: Starting Monday, August 3, construction will begin on 54th Street in front of ECLC. The first step in the process will be materials reclamation, in which the surface is removed and ground up to use as fill in another area of the project.
It will take several weeks for our section of the road to be rebuilt, but access to the church will be maintained throughout. If the parking lot is full on Sunday morning, attendees may park on the street as usual. However, if you visit ECLC on weekdays between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, you must park in the lot to keep the street clear for work crews.
Thank you for your patience during this upgrade to our neighborhood infrastructure. Questions about the project may be directed to Kristian Clauser, Business Administrator.
VEAP SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE: Our local food shelf, VEAP, hopes to provide over 3,000 local children with school supplies this Fall. Please bring their most needed items (backpacks, folders, pencils, notebooks) to ECLC by Sunday, August 9th. OR, ECLC will have pre-purchased supplies out this coming Sunday the 2nd for you to purchase for donation after worship!
CHRISTMAS…IN AUGUST?! Yes! ECLC will celebrate the birth of Christ, which is truly a year long celebration, in worship this Sunday, August 2nd. Come to experience the meaning of God on earth…with all your favorite Christmas hymns at both services.

She currently lives in Minneapolis and works as a professional potter. Claire will be speaking at Edina Community Lutheran Church on Wednesday, August 5 at 7:00 pm. There is no admission charge, however in the wake of the recent African American church burnings, donations toward the Rebuild the Churches Fund will be accepted.
