66 WEST GROUNDBREAKING
Please join ECLC on Tuesday, July 12 from 5-6:30 pm as we celebrate the groundbreaking of 66 West with our friends at Beacon! You helped make 66 West happen, creating 39 homes for young adults who have experienced homelessness. A brief program will be held at 5:30. Limited parking will be available at the Southdale Place Office Building site west of the 66 West site. Please consider carpooling from ECLC or using transit. Register at the Sign Up Center!
WOMEN IN TRANSITION:
Join WIT on Tuesday, July 12 as we join in the groundbreaking ceremony for 66 West. We’ll meet at the site at 5pm and after the ceremony is over we’ll gather at Patrick’s Bakery & Café (66 & York) for good conversation and dinner or a treat. Please consider carpooling if you can.
RACE IN MINNESOTA BOOK CONVERSATION:
Start reading the critically acclaimed “A Good Time for the Truth: Race in Minnesota” by Sun Yung Shin now for a book conversation on Wednesday, July 13th at 7pm. Part of ECLC’s Always Being Made New summer, the Mission Team invites you to stretch and read something new this summer. Email Mission Committee member Liz to sign up.
SPRINKLE CELEBRATION for Baby Coltvet Erdmann on Sunday, July 17 after worship around 11 a.m. in the sanctuary. There will be light snacks, cake and beverages. Anyone who would like to contribute light snacks can sign up in the sign up center. Anyone is invited to bring prayers for the baby through a blessing bowl or diapers or gift cards for the family.
