For a $10 ticket, you can enjoy an afternoon of jazz at the Minneapolis Woman’s Club and $3 from every ticket sold at ECLC will support our housing work for homeless youth in the western suburbs! (Children 10 and under get in free!) Tickets will be available for purchase at ECLC on Sundays or by contacting Larry directly.
LENTEN OFFERING: LOCAL AND GLOBAL HEALTH MINISTRIES: This Lent, we reach out as a congregation and support ministries that serve the health of their communities. Among its many ministries, our sister congregation St. Paul’s Lutheran hosts the Phillips Neighborhood Clinic, caring for the whole person throughout its neighborhood. And, our eyes turns to our brothers and sisters in El Salvador as the Zika virus spreads there. Our Lenten offering will support St. Paul’s Lutheran and a yet to be determined ministry partner working through the Lutheran Church of El Salvador to prevent the spread of this disease. To support the Lenten offering, place a check in the offering plate made out to ECLC with “Lenten Offering” in the memo line, donate at a Wednesday night soup supper, or donate online at www.eclc.org
