ECO-FAITH A few weeks ago one of our pastors made a suggestion from the pulpit that we add "rest" to our spiritual lives. What a great idea! We can also give the earth a “rest” by being intentional about how we use and conserve water and other natural resources. Here are a few simple actions that make a difference:
- Take 2-3 minute showers.
- Install a low flow shower head.
- Turn off the water faucet while brushing teeth or doing dishes.
- Lower the temperature of your water heater to 120 degrees.
- Skip the bottled water to cut down on the plastic waste. Instead use reusable eco-friendly bottles. (many products sold on-line)
