Jonathan Rundman will complete his Christian Public Leader placement at ECLC this summer. As part of his seminary training he has led worship, taught confirmation, led discussions, attended meetings to observe, and reflected with the pastors on his role. We are grateful for all the ways Jonathan has enhanced our ministry. Jonathan will finish up this particular role at ECLC at the end of May. He will continue to be with us as a member as he does a chaplain residency this summer and completes more course work over the coming school year.

Beginning in June and through this summer we will have another student from Luther Seminary, Kristin Dybdal. Kristin comes to us from Luther Seminary, where she is pursuing a MDiv and discerning her path forward in ordained ministry. Before being called to seminary, she was a self-described “public policy nerd”, working on Medicaid and other health and human service programs at the state level. Kristin’s passion for ministry is in pastoral care, and she plans to start a one-year chaplaincy internship at a hospital in September.
