THANKSGIVING OFFERING: Our special Thanksgiving Offering will support long-time local partners, VEAP and Community Emergency Service. Recognizing God’s abundance, we stretch to support these essential hunger and social service ministries that provide both resources and hope to neighbors in times of struggle. Offerings are welcomed throughout the month by donating online at, through checks made out to ECLC with “Thanksgiving Offering” in the memo line, or through the Thanksgiving offering envelopes found in the Sanctuary on Sundays.

THIS COMING SUNDAY, the last day of the church year, is traditionally called, “Christ the King” Sunday, or “The Reign of Christ Sunday.” As we reflect together on the kind of realm Christ desires for us, we will give thanks for and remember in prayer all those who serve in elected, appointed or volunteer leadership positions in our synod and wider-church leadership and in city, local, state and national government. If you hold such a position we will invite you to stand on Sunday and receive our prayers of support. Postcards will be available for worshippers to send to both church and governmental leaders to give thanks for their commitment.
