ECLC RECEIVES AWARD FROM COMMUNITY EMERGENCY SERVICE:  ECLC is proud to share it will receive an award from long-time mission partner, Community Emergency Service, giving thanks for our continuing service in their food shelf program and support of their larger ministry. CES is a recipient of our building capital appeal.  All ECLCers are invited to this partner recognition event this Saturday the 30th from 11am-1pm at CES: 1900 11th Ave S.  AND, ECLC is collecting paper grocery bags with handles for CES which are greatly needed at this time. Drop those at the sign up center! 

VEAP SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE - It's that time again! From July 1 - 22 we will be collecting to help VEAP provide thousands of K-12 students with a new backpack and school supplies. Most needed items: Backpacks, Earbuds, USB Thumb Drives, Calculators. All other forms of (new) school supplies needed as well. We will be selling and collecting school supply items following worship on July 15 & 22. Donations may also be left in the blue bin below the Sign Up Center.

VOLUNTEER GROCERY SHOPPERS NEEDED FOR HOMEBOUND NEIGHBORS Start your day off right and get some exercise while helping older adults meet their grocery needs. As a volunteer shopper for Help at Your Door, you will work with a team of volunteers to fill orders at the grocery store for about 3 hours once a week or twice per month. We are especially seeking volunteers to assist on Thursday or Friday mornings (6:30-9 a.m.) at the Bloomington Cub Foods at 8421 Lyndale Ave S. Volunteers do not pay for groceries. RALLY FOR IMMIGRATION CHANGE:  If you are troubled by family separations at the border, plan to attend this event: Families Belong Together!  Rallies are being held in Washington, D.C., and around the country to tell President Trump and his administration to stop separating kids from their parents! In the Twin Cities the rally will on Saturday, June 30 at 2 p.m outside the Minneapolis Convention Center. For more information, click here
