BRIGHT STARS OF BETHLEHEM, NEXT WEEK! Join the special conversation about our brothers and sisters in Palestine on April 3 as we continue our Lenten journey. We are delighted to have Beth Nelson Chase, executive director of our ECLC mission partner Bright Stars of Bethlehem, with us for soup supper and Lenten worship on Wednesday, April 3. Even as we look toward the joy of Easter, we know from news headlines the challenges of daily life for young and old in Palestine.
You are invited to join Beth and BSB mission liaison Carla Carlson at 6 p.m. for soup and conversation at tables located in the back of the sanctuary, behind the glass doors. Beth brings thanks from the Bethlehem community for ECLC’s support and can answer your questions about the ways that BSB offers opportunities and hope through Dar al-Kalima University of Arts and Culture, Diyar Academy for Youth, and Ajyal Senior Care Center.
