Celebration Sunday

This Sunday we celebrate the gifts and commitments made to our “It’s our Turn” appeal for our capital project and the ministry and mission supported by our 2016 budget.  We are still expecting many more commitments in the coming days.  There will be cake and treats in the fellowship hall between services.  If you have not returned your pledge card, please do so as soon as possible or contact Business Administrator Kristian Clauser.

We celebrate with 42 new ECLC members as they join our ministry and mission.  Please look for those with roses on and greet them as they deepen their commitment to ECLC.

We celebrate the 30th anniversary of becoming a Reconciling Christ congregation in 1985.  We have been blessed by this ministry in many ways.  Learn more by attending the Sunday forum in the sanctuary as we welcome Bishop Mark Hanson. Mark will help us remember this momentous decision, and consider how we can continue to make courageous choices as a Church today!

We will also celebrate with the Advent Festival

Come, experience childlike wonder, with resources and activities for all ages, at this year's Advent Festival! Your advent calendar and brown-paper wrapped package (one per family) is waiting; a gift freely given for you, to be opened at the festival and throughout the season. Children will join their parents on this day of intergenerational learning fun!   Help is still needed to hand out packages, host the supply table, and assist with our subversive art project. Contact Kelly to volunteer.
