Epiphany and Baptism of Our Lord

This Sunday, we celebrate Epiphany (January 6) and the Baptism of Our Lord (January 8). Join us for worship at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.

  • During worship, we will bless the work of ECLC quilters, as their creations will be sent throughout the world as a sign of God’s love for those in need.
  • After worship, Children of God of all ages are invited to bring their baptismal quilts to the font for a group picture with ECLC quilters. The more the merrier; extra quilts will be provided!
  • Between worship services, starting at 9:45 a.m., Sunday School children, youth, parents and people of all ages are invited to pack Lutheran World Relief Health Kits in the Fellowship Hall as part of an intergenerational opportunity for service.
  • At 10:00 a.m., join Pastors Erik and Stephanie in the Sanctuary to consider the ritual and meaning of the Christian funeral. Learn what planning goes into this important milestone, and how you can prepare for you and your loved ones—no matter what stage in your journey.
