LENT: Solidarity with God and Each Other

Today, ashes in the sign of the cross are placed on our foreheads at our 10am and 7pm Ash Wednesday services, a reminder that we are united as common humanity...and as common inheritors of God's promises.  We are in solidarity with each other...and with God.

Throughout Lent, ECLC will explore the Gospel through the lens of solidarity.  How God through Christ walks with us...and how we, too, are called to stand in solidarity with our neighbors, especially those outcast or struggling in times of injustice or division.

You are the greatest witness to the ways that God has walked in solidarity with you.  We've asked five ECLCers to share their stories during Lenten evening worship each Wednesday in Lent (7pm, March 8-April 5). Each will share the powerful ways in which God has walked with them in their lives...and how that has transformed the way they now walk with others.

Join ECLC for Wednesday evening Lenten worship and the following ECLC story sharers:

March 8: Grey M.
March 15: Megan C. and Brett L.
March 22: Roy W.
March 29: Johanna D.
April 5: Amy S.

As we enter this Lenten journey, may you know that you are never alone; both God and the ECLC community stand in solidarity with you, as you seek ways to be in solidarity with all those in your life, too.
