Last Sunday, we read together Luke 24, in which the disciples finally recognize Jesus when they sit down for a meal together. In our chaotic, over-scheduled lives, it is hard to really know and see each other…even when we seek church community. It requires intentionality.
On Saturday, May 13th, come together to dine and develop real relationship—to really get to know each other! ECLC’s annual Progressive Dinner is one of the biggest events of the year—and the friendships that begin there can last a lifetime. Here’s how it works:
- At 5:00pm, gather all together for appetizers in ECLC’s Fellowship Hall
- Then, receive an address of an ECLC home to enjoy a salad course with 6-12 other ECLCers
- Then, receive an address of an ECLC home to enjoy a main course and dessert with 6-12 other ECLCers
All are encouraged to come together and connect in a new way outside of Sunday morning.
To sign up, email ECLC progressive dinner organizer, Leslie S and let her know how you will contribute: by hosting the salad course, hosting the main/dessert courses, bringing an appetizer, bringing a salad, bringing a main course, or bringing a dessert. More hosts are always needed!
