Summer is nearly upon us. Isn’t it wonderful to say those words?
It is typical for summer to be a time when church communities go far—many people head to the lakes or venture away on vacations.
At ECLC this summer, however, we will be coming together!
In June we will come together for worship at 8:30 and at 11:00, just as we have done throughout the year.
We will also come together for special events such as:
*Justice Choir with Tesfa Wondemagegnehu: Sunday, June 3 from 1-2pm
*ECLC Neighborhood Night Out: Wednesday, June 13 from 6-8pm
*Open Eye Puppet Show at ECLC: Sunday, June 17 from 1-2pm
In addition we will make the most of our education hour in June with varied opportunities to learn and share experiences that will enrich our faith and enhance our journey toward becoming beloved community.
Then in July and August, we will come together for one worship service in our sanctuary at 9:30 each Sunday! From July 1 through September 2 we are eager to worship all together. 8:30 people, get re-acquainted with some 11 o’clock people! 11 o’clock folks, say hello to some new friends who regularly worship at 8:30! As we celebrate becoming beloved community we will fill our sanctuary (perhaps even to overflowing) with singing, proclamation, thanksgiving…and people. We are grateful for our new, larger sanctuary that will allow us this opportunity!
Please note that worship will remain on our regular schedule until July 1. We will worship at 9:30 from July 1 through September 2.
