This Sunday, we celebrate in worship that God’s story moves in expansive, diverse, and surprising ways. Pentecost is a day of celebration, a day of inclusion, and a day that challenges us: Where might the spirit move us next as people of faith?
Between worship services, you’re invited to continue the celebration AND the challenge. We will celebrate our year of growing in faith together, particularly giving thanks for our Sunday School teachers, Confirmation guides, youth mentors, and so many others who walk alongside our youth!
Be sure to view the slideshow honoring the many ways ECLCers dive into God’s story this year. AND, we will challenge ourselves as people called by God’s spirit into acts of justice for the whole world. Stop by 12 Justice Stations for quick justice acts that support 12 of ECLC’s mission ministries, including VEAP, Protect Minnesota, Immigration, 66 West, and many more. Each station also has a baked good for you to taste—vote for your favorite treat in our Mission Bake Off!
As we continue to explore Dr. King’s vision towards Becoming Beloved Community as followers of Christ, we invite you to wear red and join in with this Sunday’s festivities---where worship, faith formation, and mission collide in the most spirit-filled of ways.
