“There’s a hunger beyond food that’s expressed in food, and that’s why feeding is always a kind of miracle.” ~ Sara Miles
Throughout God’s story, we see again and again the transformation that occurs around a table. Laughter is shared, hearts are opened, and relationships are born. Plus, really good food is eaten!
On Saturday, May 12th at 5pm, join ECLC’s annual Progressive Dinner and gather around three separate tables for appetizers, salads, and main course/desserts. You’ll enjoy apps at ECLC, then travel in smaller groups for the remaining courses. Over 50 ECLCers will be there—some, you know. Others have stories that are waiting to transform you.
To RSVP, email ECLCer Leslie Swiggum at firstname.lastname@example.org by next Wednesday the 8th and indicate if you’ll host the salad or main/dessert course, or bring an appetizer, salad, main dish, or dessert. Hosts are always especially needed. Free childcare will be available at the church from 5-8:30pm.
As we seek to Become Beloved Community, we invite you to take a risk: to break bread with those you don’t yet know…and get to more deeply know those you do.
