KIDS SINGING THIS SUNDAY! We've been working hard on our song, "Here I Am, Lord" in preparation for this Sunday at BOTH services. Kids: meet Melissa in the sanctuary at 8:20 and we will sing together in the first part of the liturgy at 8:30 and 11:00. Sing with us and be a part of this historic and epic day!

SET YOUR CLOCKS BACK NEXT WEEKEND  Daylight Saving Time Ends on Sunday, November 6. Don’t forget to set your clocks back on Saturday night for an extra hour of sleep!

ELECTION DAY HELP NEEDED! Volunteers are needed to replenish coffee and treats and welcome voters on Tuesday, November 8th. Needed shifts are 5-7pm and 7-8pm (clean up shift)—popular voting times!  Please email Lauren if you help ECLC be neighborly that day!

MULTI-FAITH POST ELECTION GATHERING FOR HOPE: After an often stressful campaign season, many seek healing and have a need to come together in song, reflection, quiet meditation, & some food to shape a new narrative for ourselves and our community.  You are invited to this worship experience at 7pm on Thursday, November 10th hosted by Shir Tikvah Congregation at 1360 W. DAKOTA COMMEMORATIVE MARCH DAY OF REMEMBRANCE On Sunday, November 13, 11 a.m. you are invited to join a walk from St. Peter’s Church (1405 Sibley Memorial Hwy, St. Paul), across the Mendota Bridge, down to the Fort Snelling Concentration Camp Site for a ceremony remembering Dakota ancestors who were forcibly removed to concentration camps at Mankato and Fort Snelling in November 1862. LOAVES & FISHES: Prepare (1:30-3:00) or serve (5:00-7:00) a meal with neighbors at Holy Rosary Church at 2448 18th Ave S. in Minneapolis on Tuesday, November 15th. Ages 14+ welcome! Email Kathy to sign up!

Drop off cake mix, frosting, birthday plates and napkins, candles, and $2-$4 toys for kids celebrating their birthday with VEAP Food shelf this month! Donations welcome at the Sign Up Center through Sunday, November 20th then we will pack birthday bags during the Advent Festival on November 27th. Questions? HOLDEN VILLAGE PILGRIMAGE  A group is forming to spend a week at Holden Village (a remote Lutheran retreat center in north central Washington State) in early August 2017!  A $100 deposit per household is due by December 15 to secure your spot. LAST CHANCE TO SUBSCRIBE TO EDINA SOLAR Minnesota's first city-hosted Community Solar Garden will be built on the roof of Edina's Public Works building in 2017. This project will help Edina achieve its ambitious goal to reduce carbon emissions by 30% by 2025.  As a subscriber, you purchase the rights to a portion of the solar array and receive credit on your monthly Xcel bill for solar production.
