HELP NEEDED TO CLEAN THE SANCTUARY It's time to prepare our worship space for the season of advent and Christmas. This Saturday, Dec. 1st at 9:00 a.m. the altar committee will be cleaning the sanctuary and extra helpers would be appreciated. Please stop by and give us a hand.

SUNDAY FORUM: DECEMBER 9: Therapist Karen Stevensen will lead the Forum as we continue the conversation of "Living With Grief." (No forum on December 2 – Enjoy the Advent Festival!)

MEALS ON WHEELS drivers are needed for Friday, December 7th. This vital ministry is a great way to bring community and some holiday merriment to the home-bound and elderly of Edina, Richfield, and SW Minneapolis. Meet at United Methodist Church of Peace (6345 Xerxes Ave) at 11am. All instructions and training are provided, and in total it takes 1-1.5 hrs. Kids of any age are welcome! JOIN THE CHRISTMAS CHOIR for rehearsals after midweek vespers on Wednesdays (7:45ish) in the sanctuary in preparation for singing on Sunday, December 23 and at the 9:30 pm Christmas Eve service.

GRIEF TRANSITION COMMITTEE: On behalf of the Grief Transition committee, we are asking for members’ help building a Memory book for Pastor Stephanie’s family. We are looking for stories, photos and remembrances about Pastor Stephanie and her work at ECLC. A hardcover book will be created as a reminder of Stephanie’s ministry at ECLC. Please submit stories or photos to the church office by December 30. If you are interested in helping with the design and formatting of the book, please contact one of the committee members.

THE SHORT STORY GROUP welcomes all women to attend our Annual Christmas Brunch on Friday, December 14, at 10 a.m. We will gather at Marilyn D’s apartment and share Christmas treats, stories, poems and Christmas traditions. Please call Marilyn if you plan to come and for directions.
