ADVENT SOUP SUPPER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: As we gather in community, we'll enjoy hot soup meals at 6pm before Wednesday worship this Advent! Sign up to serve as a kitchen volunteer or to bring soup, bread, or dessert.
HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE HELPERS NEEDED: Help sort and organize toy and gift donations for Plymouth Christian Youth Center on Friday, December 8th from 9am-Noon. We'll unpack and organize over 1,500 donated items for community residents to "shop" for the next day! Email Lauren to sign up.
SHORT STORY GROUP The Short Story Group will have our annual Christmas Brunch at Marilyn’s house, on Friday, December 15, at 10:00 am. All women are invited to join us as we share stories, poems or readings of the season. Please call Marilyn for directions or to RSVP.
LUTHERAN DISASTER RESPONSE & ECLC ENDOWMENT: The Endowment Committee is pleased to share that just over $2,000 were gifted this month from ECLC's Mission Endowment Fund to support Lutheran Disaster Response. 50% of the grant is designated for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico. Acknowledging that some disasters never make the news, 50% will be used by LDR where it is most needed.
DOUBLE YOUR MONEY FOR LUTHERAN CAMPUS MINISTRY: The Mission Team will match all ECLCers donations to Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of MN in thanks for their presentation at ECLC this month. Donations can be made on our website or with a check made out to ECLC with Lutheran Campus Ministry in the memo line by November 30th.
BREAKING BREAD MEAL: Caregivers: December 6 at 6:00pm. Bringing people together for a meal and discussion around support, ideas, and resources for those caregiving for loved ones. Led by Karen B. $10 for catered meal. RSVP to Lauren or sign up at the sign-up center.

JAZZ, DANCING, AND SUPPORTING HOMELESS YOUTH: Join the Freedom Jazz! Big Band holiday concert, Swing’in the Season on Sunday, December 3 from 3:00-5:30 p.m. at the Woman's Club ballroom next to Loring Park, with free parking. The event is family friendly and FREE for children 12 and under! Come and dance in the season or just tap your toes to everything from big band classics to jazz and big band arrangements of Christmas classics.
