WHY DO WE PRAY? Gather with our ECLC community to learn and share with one another the meaning and role of prayer in our individual lives and in our life as a congregation. This session will be co-led by Pastor Jeff and Pastor Kathie Nycklemoe from St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Bloomington. Kathie is a life-long student of prayer, a spiritual director and sought after teacher. Tuesday, October 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

SUNDAY FORUM - OCTOBER 21: Everyone - kids AND adults! - is invited to participate in a service project for ECLC partner VEAP, a nonprofit organization that helps provide access to housing, food, and support services. This Sunday, October 21st, at 9:45, join us to help decorate bags and pack healthy after school snacks.

SUNDAY FORUM - OCTOBER 28: Dr. Jennifer Kwon Dobbs, Associate Professor of English and Director of Race and Ethnic Studies at St. Olaf College, will trace the origins of our current understanding of race and invite us to consider the implications as we seek to become a beloved community.

HEALING PRAYER SERVICE Pastor Jeff Sartain accompanied by Melissa Bergstrom will hold another simple service for healing prayer on November 14 from 6:30-7:00 pm in the sanctuary. Join together for a time of quiet prayer, singing, anointing and prayers for our lives, our church and our world.

RETIRED ECLC MEN Join us for breakfast on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 8:00 am at Perkins Restaurant at Eden and Willson Roads in Edina (near 50th and Hwy 100). This month's gathering will be next Wednesday, October 24.
