Celebrate the ministry of ECLC's past, present, and future as we dedicate our new building to ministry to uplifts God's YES for the whole world. Save the Date for a Dedication Celebration from 5-7pm on Saturday, November 5th at ECLC, including a reception with appetizers, inspiring program, fun together, and free childcare provided. A suggested donation of $20 covers costs. Then, gather for worship at 8:30 or 11:00 on All Saints Sunday, November 6th, with a special blessing of our ministry space in worship.

HOLDEN IN 2017
Five years ago a group of nearly 20 people from ECLC embarked on a journey to Holden Village, a Lutheran retreat center in the mountains near Lake Chelan, Washington. Next summer, we hope to travel to Holden again. We will have an open informational meeting on Sunday, October 16 after the 11 a.m. worship service. Interested? COMMUNITY EMERGENCY SERVICE DURING MEA:
Ages 5 through adult are invited to pack grocery bags for homebound clients of CES' food shelf on Thursday, October 20th. Located at 1900 11th Ave S., CES serves thousands in need...and needs tons of volunteers to keep it running each day. RSVP to Lauren.

SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW CENTER OUTREACH DIRECTOR TO SPEAK AT ECLC. Lecia Brooks, Director of Outreach for the Southern Poverty Law Center, will speak at ECLC on Monday, October 24th 2:00 - 3:00 pm. Ms Brooks will address the many justice initiatives that SPLC leads - with particular attention to issues related to voter registration and voter suppression. All are invited to attend this free event.

Window Washing made environmentally friendly, easy, and effective! You will need 1) hot water and 2) two microfiber cloths (it's important that these haven't been washed using fabric softener or dryer sheets). Use one microfiber cloth, moistened with hot water and wrung out, to clean the window. Dry with the other microfiber cloth for a sparkling window with no streaks.
