MOVING AHEAD BUT NOT YET DONE:  We are in our new worship space, landscaping has begun, and Sunday School begins in the lower level.  Please note the signage on Sunday for locations as we all learn where rooms and groups and classes are meeting.

·          It is likely that our elevator will still not be working on Sunday morning so that those with limited mobility should enter the street level door on 54th in order to attend worship.

·          The East parking lot will be open – but stairs will be the only way to access the upper level and sanctuary.

·          We are still working on our sound system to maximize clarity etc.

COMMUNITY EMERGENCY SERVICE: Help! More volunteers are needed Thursday, September 15 from 9:00-10:30 at CES (1900 11th Ave S., Mpls) packing groceries for homebound clients.  Email Lauren to sign up.

NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Did you know there are 35 ECLCers ages 2 and under?  Our nursery staff need help!  If you’d like to volunteer to play with our little ones in the nursery (one worship service every 3 months), please email Lauren.  A background check is required; 7th grade through adults are welcome. Thank you!

GLBTQ MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT THIS SUNDAY:  We welcome Amalia Vagts, Executive Director of Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries, who will worship with us at both services and lead an informal conversation at 10am this Sunday in the Conference Room.  ELM, which supports GLBTQ Lutheran ministry leaders, is a long-time ECLC partner—come and celebrate their ministry!

ECLC SHARES NEEDS YOU!  Now, you can “earn” money for ECLC mission partners like 66 West, just by “Checking In” on Facebook at ECLC! Each time you’re at ECLC, be sure to check in, sharing something great you’re experiencing in this congregation.  Be sure to make the status “public” so that we are notified of it.  Each Check In sends money to an ECLC ministry partner—this month, 66 West will receive our donations.  Facebook users, this is the easiest way to raise money for 66 West yet!
