COME ONE, COME ALL:  Saturday September 26th at 3:00 PM LSS is hosting a hymn sing with the National Lutheran Choir at Central Lutheran Church at 333 S. 12th St. Minneapolis MN (by the Minneapolis Convention Center).  This event is free and open to the public.  There will be a freewill offering.

RACIAL JUSTICE ADVOCACY COMMITTEE There will be a meeting of the Racial Justice Advocacy committee on Monday, Sept. 28th 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at ECLC.  The committee encourages new members to attend and become involved

LIKE TO PLAY MUSIC? GREAT OPPORTUNITY!  The small Dementia Care unit of The Willows at Vernon Terrace of Edina is seeking occasional volunteers to play music for residents. This can be a one time or regular volunteer chance for musicians of all instruments and abilities.  Contact Colleen if you’re interested.

KNOW AND SUPPORT LUTHERAN CAMPUS MINISTRY!  ECLC is teaming up with Lutheran Campus Ministry of the U of M to support this young adult ministry that invites students to Be Curious. Be Real. Be Community. Through 9pm worship, interfaith experiences, and being a listening ear, LCM is an essential presence at the U. The learning opportunities are plentiful, and Sunday Forums are even more enriching if you take part. SHORT STORY GROUP The ECLC Short Story group will meet at the home of Vicky N. on Friday, September 25 at 10am.  We’ll be discussing the selection “Lust” by Susan Minot from the book “We Are the Stories We Tell.” All are welcome to join us. RSVP to Nancy.

SEE THE ECLC CHOIR AT THE GUTHRIE  Members of our ECLC Adult Choir and select students from Anoka-Ramsey Community College will be coming together and performing in THE EVENTS, a play at the Guthrie whose plot centers around a mass shooting and asks "how far forgiveness will stretch in the face of atrocity."
