INTRODUCING CHEF JEFF RILEY TONIGHT we begin a new venture with Chef Jeff Catering on (w)Holy Wednesdays! Chef Jeff Catering is a local organization that we believe not only provides great meals but shares our passion for building community within and beyond our walls.
In the midst of our busy lives we will be both energized and lightened as we enter ECLC on (w)Holy Wednesdays with a deep breath, anticipating a community meal and a nourishing activity.
Chef Jeff meals will be catered nearly every Wednesday so please reserve your meals as you participate in these evenings.
We will share menus in advance and they will indicate the gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian items. While you are invited to have a catered meal it is not required in order to participate in the evening’s activities.
As prepared and ready as we plan to be we expect there could be a few hitches as we settle into a comfortable routine. We are excited to welcome 100+ diners tonight to experience the Chef Jeff TACO BAR!!

PALESTINIAN PERSPECTIVES: VIEWING OF “THE WANTED 18” Join us for a free showing of the film “The Wanted 18” at ECLC on Tuesday, October 15 at 7 pm with an informal, guided discussion following. “The Wanted 18” is a documentary about Palestinians who wanted to start a small local dairy during the first Intifada by hiding a herd of 18 dairy cows from Israeli security forces when the dairy collective was deemed a threat to Israel’s national security. The film, with stop-motion animation, relies on the perspective of the celebrity cows. Please RSVP to Carla Carlson at firstname.lastname@example.org. A free will offering to support the work of Bright Stars of Bethlehem is welcome. This film is one of 16 locations featuring short- and feature-length films about the occupied Palestinian territories, many by Palestinian directors and student film makers, as part of the series “Palestinian Perspectives: A Film Festival.” http://brightstarsbethlehem.org/mn-filmfest.
